More than 40 flexible office spaces with the overall surface of 22,7 thousand square meters are functioning in St. Petersburg for November, 2019. This was told Stroygazeta by JLL company which also pointed out that it was planned to open new unconventional office spaces for approximately 8000 square meters.
According to experts, overall amount of flexible office spaces, including serviced offices, co-working spaces, and hybrid offices, will achieve record level in last two years, on the condition that all projects that have been announced are implemented.
As Head of office owners department Regina Voloshenko says, St. Petersburg flexible office spaces accounts for 0,7 % of total office supply in the city. In comparison, this indicator amounts to 1 %, 2,4%, 5,1%, 6,8 in Moscow, Warsaw, London, and Amsterdam respectively.
The company addes that the most part of functioning projects are located in St. Petersburg historical centre. 67% of flexible office spaces are situated within 5-7-minute walk from a metro station. There is the highest density in the Central area; 21 projects are located on Nevsky Avenue.
The analytics claim that the demand on flexible offices in St. Petersburg is created by private clients such as freelancers, entrepreneurs, and startups.
